Sketching:
You can't create an award winning display without a well-executed and collaborative process. Our design team worked with the client on multiple rounds of conceptual sketches, before selecting a creative direction to explore in the rendering phase.
Rendering:
The rendering phase of a project is a time to play around with all the possibilities of what a display could be. Experimenting with different graphic treatments, materials, and product planograms are all considered and explored during this step of the project.
After a number of iterations, the final design showcased a robust metal structure married with warm wooden accents to create an inviting-yet-functional look.
Engineering:
With a creative direction selected our talented engineering team got to work. Maintaining original design intent can sometimes be a challenge, but in this case, our team knocked it out of the park. In addition to achieving the aesthetic goals of this project, capacity and cost requirements were also met as this concept was translated into reality.
This project is a prime example of how every department at Spectas comes together to maximize value for the client. Prototype units were constructed and adjusted multiple times before engineering drawings are finalized. Expert coordination between our team members and vendors was required to create the hundreds of individual parts needed to bring this display to life.
Prototyping:
The prototype unit we produced allowed us to fine tune our engineering specs, and ultimately, resulted in something that was truly special and unique at retail.
The pergola-inspired structure and rustic quality of the display really drove this theme home, and helped to create an in-store destination that would make shoppers feel comfortable and secure in their purchasing decisions.
