The Ohio store topped $1 million in its first day of sales, plus, Love's and TXB expand in Texas.

Ohio’s first Buc-ee's Grand Opening took place in Huber Heights earlier this month and generated more than $1 million in sales on its opening day, according to The Columbus Dispatch. Local officials said it marked the chain’s strongest first-day performance to date.
Huber Heights Mayor Jeff Gore shared the milestone in an April 14 Facebook post, noting
that hotels across the area were sold out during opening weekend.
The 53-acre site features 120 fuel pumps, 24 Tesla Superchargers and more than 700 parking spaces. A second Ohio Buc-ee’s location is planned for Mansfield.
Meanwhile, Love’s Travel Stops is expanding in Texas with the opening of a new travel stop in
San Antonio, its second in the city. Located on Interstate 410, the site includes 70 truck parking spaces and free parking for professional drivers, helping address the ongoing national truck parking shortage.

The location will also feature the company’s first Whataburger, opening May 4, and includes space for future EV charging infrastructure. So far in 2026, Love’s has added 534 truck parking spaces nationwide.
To mark the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 each to East Central High School Band
and Christus Children’s Hospital.
Texas Born (TXB) will host a grand opening for its newest location in Frisco, Texas, on April 29. The store is positioned near major attractions including The Star, the Dallas Cowboys’ headquarters, and PGA Frisco
"We’re thrilled to be part of the Frisco community,” said CEO Kevin Smartt. “We’re excited to support guests along their journey and continue our mission to Leave ‘Em Better."
In Maryland, Dash In’s newest location in La Plata is now open. The store, located next to the company’s corporate headquarters, drew strong community engagement during its opening.
