The Final Product:
Our longtime client Pepperidge Farm came to us with an urgent request to revamp their Holiday Grill Displays for their annual Memorial Day promotion. At Spectas, we do everything we can to ensure your display is delivered on-time and on-budget. This project was no exception. With only a 30 day delivery window, our teams managed to ideate, engineer, prototype, and manufacture a more cost-effective solution to fit their instore needs.
This unit was a massive success, with over 800 units shipped to large format grocery stores across the United States.
When there is a tight deadline, we pull out all the stops. Our whole design team put their heads together and produced, in collaboration, many different iterations and concepts for the new Holiday Smoker unit. Below are a few of the sketches that were presented to the client to gauge their vision for the display.
Once an aesthetic direction was chosen by Pepperidge Farms, our engineering team got to work producing detailed CAD models to pass on to our prototyping team.
One of our biggest strengths is our in-house manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. Our prototyping and manufacturing teams quickly translated the supplied CAD drawings into a physical mockup. The Holiday Smoker prototype was complete with a rich black powder-coat and vinyl transfer decals to finish the unit off for review by the client.
No matter the ask, we take a lot of pride in bringing our clients vision to life. As a result, we dedicate time to creating solid partnerships with suppliers to help us source everything from parts to graphics, in a variety of materials and finishes. Specifically for the graphics below, the hood and thermostat decals are printed on an adhesive vinyl, to seamlessly blend into the smoker. The channel strip has the ability to be replaced to showcase various messaging promotions. The main structure is always the foundation of the fixture, but the graphics, truly, are the cherry on top of this festive display.
